🌿 My Approach & Credentials

Rooted in Compassion, Informed by Training

This work is sacred to me — and while my approach is deeply intuitive and relational, it’s also grounded in ongoing learning, clinical rigor, and evidence-based practices.

Here’s a closer look at the experience, values, and modalities that guide my work as a psychotherapist.

My Guiding Philosophy

I believe that healing happens when we feel safe enough to be seen — not just for who we present to the world, but for who we truly are underneath.

That’s why I meet each person with deep care, respect, and curiosity.

My goal is never to “fix” you — it’s to help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been silenced, buried, or forgotten.

My approach is:

  • Relational and collaborative — built on trust and genuine connection

  • Somatic and mindful — grounded in the body’s innate wisdom

  • Trauma-informed and attachment-sensitive — honoring the impact of early experiences without pathologizing

  • Culturally attuned and anti-oppressive — committed to holding space for diverse lived experiences

  • Gentle, curious, and compassionate — always tuned to what feels safe and supportive for you

Credentials & Clinical Background

  • Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) — in good standing in Ontario

  • Master’s in Counselling Psychology – University of Ottawa (2013)

  • Private Practice Owner – since 2017

  • Former Therapist & Workshop Leader at University of Ottawa (2013–2017), supporting university students with mental health, identity, and emotional wellness

“Credentials build the frame. What fills the space is empathy, attunement, and trust.”

🌱 Modalities That Shape My Work

Each person I meet is unique, so I draw from a variety of approaches depending on your needs, history, and comfort level.

🌀 DARe (Dynamic Attachment Repatterning experience)-A trauma and attachment-based model that helps rewire the nervous system and shift core relational patterns from early attachment injuries.

🌿 NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model)-A powerful modality for healing developmental and relational trauma by working gently with survival patterns and fostering connection to the present self.

📖 Narrative Therapy-A collaborative approach that helps you rewrite the internalized stories that no longer serve you and connect to your values, strengths, and preferred future.

🧬 Family Systems-Explores how family dynamics shape beliefs, behaviors, and emotional patterns — and helps you establish healthier internal and external boundaries.

💛 Compassion-Focused & Attachment-Based Therapy-Supports emotional regulation, self-acceptance, and healing through connection — both with others and with your own inner parts.

📚 Ongoing Learning

I believe in lifelong learning — because the more I grow, the more I can support you.

I’m currently completing training in:

-Integrative Psychotherapy (Daybreak Therapy & The Sophia School)

-Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification

-BreathWork

🌎 Bilingual Therapy

I offer psychotherapy in English and Spanish, supporting diverse communities and honoring the emotional nuance that language can hold.

“The path is yours, but you were never meant to travel it without support.”

💫 Final Word

This work is not just what I do — it’s who I am.

I’ve lived what I guide others through, and I hold this responsibility with care, reverence, and humility.
