Below are some of the most common questions I receive — whether you're curious about therapy, workshops, or how we might work together, I hope this helps ease your mind and bring clarity.

Is therapy right for me?

If you’re feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply longing for more — more clarity, more presence, more peace — you don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy offers a compassionate space to feel seen, supported, and reconnected. You don’t need to have it all together to begin. If your heart is whispering that something needs tending to, that’s more than enough.

What can I expect in a therapy session?

Sessions are grounded in presence, curiosity, and care. We’ll move at your pace, exploring what feels important—emotions, memories, body sensations, relationships, or patterns. I draw from somatic, attachment-based, and compassion-focused approaches to help you gently reconnect with yourself.

What kind of therapy do you offer?

My work is body-oriented, trauma-informed, and rooted in compassion. I integrate approaches such as NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model), DARe (Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experience), Narrative Therapy, Family Systems, and compassionate & mindfulness-based practices. Do you offer therapy in Spanish?

Yes, absolutely. As a bilingual therapist, I offer therapy in both English and Spanish. I understand the nuanced experience of navigating multiple cultures and offer a space that’s inclusive, attuned, and culturally sensitive—especially for Latinx and Spanish-speaking clients.

Do you work with 2SLGBTQIA+ clients?

Yes. As a proud member of this community, creating an affirming, safe, and inclusive space is deeply important to me. You're welcome to show up just as you are—with your full story, truth, and identity.

How do I book a therapy appointment?

You can reach out through the [contact form] if you’d like to connect or ask a few questions first. If you’re ready to get started, feel free to book directly through my [online calendar]. Whatever feels right for you—I’ll meet you there.

Can I have face-to-face therapy sessions with you?

At this time, I’m not offering in-person therapy sessions. All therapy is held online through a secure and private platform, allowing us to connect from wherever you feel most comfortable.

However, I do offer in-person workshops, retreats, and special events from time to time. If you're looking for face-to-face connection in a group setting, feel free to check out the Services page or contact me directly to learn more about what’s currently available.

Can I work with you if I don’t live in Ontario?

Possibly, yes. While I’m a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, depending on where you live and the laws in your area, I may still be able to offer therapy. If you're outside Ontario and feel drawn to working with me, please contact me first and let me know your location so I can confirm what's ethically and legally possible before you book.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. I offer secure virtual therapy for adults residing in Ontario. Workshops and retreats may be offered virtually or in person—up-to-date details are always shared on each event or Services pages.

How much does therapy cost?

My standard fee is $180 CAD for a 50-minute session. Fees for workshops, courses, or retreats vary depending on the offering and are clearly outlined on the respective registration pages. If you have any questions or need guidance, I’m always happy to help.

Do you offer anything beyond therapy?

Yes. I also create spaces for growth and connection through workshops, online courses, and retreats. These offerings are designed to support your self-awareness and emotional growth. What if I’m not ready for therapy, but still feel drawn to this work?

You’re still welcome here. Healing doesn’t have to begin in a therapy session. You might explore a course, attend a workshop, take a quiz, or simply reflect on what I share through writing and video. Every small step toward yourself is sacred — and I’ll be here when you’re ready. What’s the difference between therapy and a workshop or retreat?

Therapy is a one-on-one, confidential process tailored to your personal healing journey. Workshops and retreats are immersive experiences focused on reflection, learning, and shared growth. While they’re not therapy, they can complement it beautifully and offer meaningful transformation in a supportive group setting.

What are your policies around cancellation and insurance?

Life happens—and I understand that things don’t always go as planned. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice—or missed sessions—will be charged the full session fee. Fees are to be paid in full at the time of service. If you have insurance coverage, I can provide you with a receipt that you can submit for reimbursement.

Please note that most insurance companies will not reimburse for late cancellations or no-shows, but this depends on your specific plan. If you're unsure, it's always best to check directly with your provider.
