A Soft Place to Land
Hello, I am Emely.

I believe therapy can be a place where you do not have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or have all the answers.

My role is not to tell you who you should be. I offer a warm, collaborative space where we can become curious about what is happening within you, make sense of the patterns that have shaped you, and listen more closely to what your mind, body, and deeper parts may be trying to communicate.

I bring both clinical training and a deeply human approach to this work. I value compassion, honesty, curiosity, and the kind of relationship where you can gradually feel safe enough to show up as yourself.

You can come exactly as you are. We will begin there.

A Whole-Self Approach to Therapy
Therapy can make room for what you can put into words, and for what may be harder to explain.
Together, we may explore your thoughts and emotions, the patterns that show up in your relationships, the signals your body gives you, and the protective parts of you that developed along the way.
Depending on what feels useful, our work can include meaningful conversation, relational and attachment-based exploration, body awareness, inner-parts work, mindfulness, breath, and hypnotherapy.
Nothing is imposed. We work collaboratively, at your pace, and you remain in choice throughout the process.
Relationships & Attachment
The ways we learned to connect, protect ourselves, seek closeness, or create distance can continue shaping our relationships long after we understand them intellectually. Together, we can explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, making room for different ways of relating to yourself and to others.
Body Awareness
Sometimes your body notices something before you have words for it. We may gently pay attention to sensations, emotions, tension, impulses, or shifts in your body as another source of information about what you need and what may be happening beneath the surface.
Inner Parts & Patterns
Different parts of you may have learned to protect, please, push through, stay small, stay alert, or keep everything under control. Rather than trying to get rid of these parts, we can become curious about what they have been protecting and whether they still need to work quite so hard.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy can offer another way of turning inward when you want to explore patterns, emotions, imagery, or inner experiences at a deeper level. You remain aware and in control throughout the process, and hypnotherapy is used only when it feels appropriate and meaningful to you.
Breath & Nervous System
Breath, grounding, and mindful awareness can sometimes help create more space when emotions feel intense or your system feels overwhelmed. These practices are always optional and can be adapted to what feels comfortable and supportive for you.
Who I Serve

You may look capable and put together on the outside while feeling very different inside.

Perhaps you have spent years adapting, being strong, caring for others, or trying to keep everything together. You may understand many of your patterns intellectually, yet still find yourself repeating them in your relationships, your choices, or the way you treat yourself.

You may recognize yourself here if you:

-
Take care of other people’s needs so automatically that it can be difficult to recognize your own
-
Overthink conversations, relationships, or decisions long after they are over
-
Feel responsible for keeping the peace, managing other people’s emotions, or preventing conflict
-
Struggle with boundaries, guilt, people-pleasing, or trusting yourself when something does not feel right
-
Become overwhelmed, reactive, shut down, or disconnected when relationships feel uncertain or emotionally intense
-
Notice old relational patterns repeating even when you understand where they come from
-
Have learned to push through, stay strong, stay small, or remain constantly alert in order to feel safe
-
Feel disconnected from your body, your needs, your emotions, or the parts of yourself you have had to put aside
-
Function well in everyday life while privately feeling exhausted, lonely, stuck, or unsure of who you are becoming
-
Long for a deeper and more compassionate relationship with yourself

You do not need to fit neatly into a diagnosis or arrive knowing exactly what you want to change.

We can begin with what is happening in your life now and gently explore the patterns, relationships, protective parts, and experiences that may be shaping how you feel and how you move through the world.
